TIGER TANTRUM (New England IPA)
will be tapping on Tuesday, August 7th!
Back by popular demand (and the occasional threat of bodily harm if we didn’t bring it back) this IPA was a crowd favorite the first time it was made. But due to another kind of threat we opted for a name change this time around. Hopped with Citra, Motueka and Southern Cross, this citrus-filled beauty also makes for a really yummy breakfast. It’s GRRRRREAT!

Light grist of pilsner, spelt and flaked rice doped up with a curry of Asian ingredients & fermented with lager yeast. We could describe it more, but just try it after answering these questions honestly:
1) Do you like Thai Food? – No? Order something else.
2) Do you have allergies to any of the following: lemongrass, galangal, coconut, kaffir lime, tamarind, sambal oelek, palm sugar, lactose or thai chili pepper? –No?
You may proceed.

Jason Ager is a dedicated father, a passionate college professor, and a hyper-literate original songwriter. Balancing a PhD in German Literature with a few days a week as a stay-at-home dad, Jason still plays more than 100 shows a year in the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond. On his third album, Porchlight, Ager’s talent as a storyteller shines as he weaves together the academic and the arcane into clever lyrics that reward the careful listener. Nestled comfortably atop classic soul, R&B, and rock influences, songs like “Overload” and “Everybody Needs Love” epitomize Jason’s ability to rouse hearts and minds in the same breath.
Swamp Candy is an internationally touring, primitive blues influenced Americana duo. Ruben Dobbs’ aggressive finger-picking and rhythmic style (which often adds up to sounding like more than one guitar) combined with Joey Mitchell’s bass playing, pounding kick drum and percussive bass throttling (representing the presence of a full drum kit) easily fill up the sonic space normally created by a trio or even a four-piece. Dobbs’ soulful, passionate vocals are the glue that holds it all together and makes the band tick.
The Bodine Brothers offer a bodacious blend of high energy classic rock, hard drivin’ outlaw country, blistering blues and smokin’ southern rock. The Bodine Brothers perform an assortment of songs by ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Tom Petty, Jimi Hendrix, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Aerosmith, Rolling Stones, Santana, Poison, Bob Seger, Dwight Yoakam, Waylon Jennings, John Cougar Mellencamp, Steppenwolf, Bad Company and many more.
“Freddie Long is starting down a sunny road paved with talent, devotion, and a sense of how to make music both fun and meaningful. I hope that this road is a long one…” -Nathan Olson, Indie-Music.com
